About
Really, it all began with my first Sharpie. An entire semester of Algebra II was lost to marker fumes and patterns in black and white on the back of homework assignments. I discovered that creating images proved inspiring, instinctual, and just plain fun. Even then, I could get lost in the conversation between line and form.
Fast forward, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications and took my first design job in Los Angeles. To build my portfolio, I sought opportunities in screen printing, marketing, advertising, branding and rebranding, UI/UX and presentation design in Los Angeles, San Diego, Austin and finally Boston.
I have an affinity for all things design and enjoy turning complex problems into simple, beautiful and intuitive interface designs. I have a passion for ink, paper and typography and believe there is nothing more satisfying than holding your freshly printed piece, right off the press.
On a personal level, I love color, spray paint, street art, and creating mixed-media collage pieces. I enjoy hosting dinner parties, creating good food and craft cocktails. Iām a huge fan of music, live music and play guitar. I spend as much time as possible with my family, friends and my giant dog Buddha, a.k.a. Toots and my small dog Lucky, a.k.a. Bob Barker.
